Matthew – Trying to get in touch with you in the hopes you’d like to be on a panel at APU. I’m the author in residence there this term, and love the idea of having a creative non-fiction writer, and essayist on the panel. Drop me a line at jolenebperry at gmail – thanks so much!

For the very brief time I knew you…in fact just a couple of short meetings during some climbing outings…I was always elated to have you around. Your humor and strength are what I remember most. It’s been maybe 20 years and to see what you’ve done now is astounding….and yet…not that surprising. You’re a hell of a human and now a writer! Good stuff Matt!

Thanks for reading and the kind words, Jim. Memory’s getting a little rusty — did we climb with Matt King by any chance? He’s in Durango now as well.
